APPEAL TO WITNESSES

This is an urgent appeal to anyone who witnessed arrests during the Bush demonstrations in London on 19th, 20th or 21st of November.

If you witnessed an arrest being carried out during any of the Bush protests please contact Resist Bush at: resistbush@yahoo.co.uk

Your information may help someones case.

WERE YOU ARRESTED?

WERE YOU ARRESTED DURING THE BUSH DEMONSTRATIONS IN LONDON AND DID NOT SPEAK TO A SOLICITOR?

Some activists arrested during the Bush protests were told by the police that they would be released sooner if they did not call a solicitor! The police were also arresting, then 'de-arresting' protesters after removing them from the area!

We want to get a true figure [as opposed to the 'official' police figures] as to how many arrests were actually made.

If you were arrested, and did not contact a solicitor or report the arrest to our Legal Support Line, please contact us at resistbush@yahoo.co.uk.

We can also put you in contact with a solicitor who can advise you if you are concerned about your arrest.

Wednesday 19th November - Resist Bush Tea Party at Buckingham Palace.
Meet Victoria Station 3pm. Mass protest and civil disobedience.

Bring banners, placards, drums whistles, pots and pans and tea…...

ResistBush is calling for a day of open mass non-violent civil disobedience for the first day of Bush's visit. This will be a space where all groups and individuals can come to protest together in large numbers. Please get the word out to as many people as possible.

Resist Bush is also co-ordinating a mass sit-down protest as part of the Tea Party on the 19th. This will be open to everyone to join. We stress that this action is a call for NON-VIOLENT action i.e. 'action which does not harm or degrade any human being'. Please see the flyer for more details.
